In 1997, for the first time in its history, the Petro Jacyk Education Foundation invited individuals and institutions interested in supporting Ukrainian history and language, to join in its work by establishing their permanent Named Funds. The Founders of these funds have a chance to benefit from the Foundation's achievements, international contacts, and professional management while supporting specific pertinent charitable projects of their choice.
Scholarship in the field of Ukrainian history or Ukrainian language at national universities in Ukraine.
TATYANA MARIA HLADIJ FUND
Established in memory of Dr. Mykhajlo Paczowskyj for educational programs at Lviv University in the field of Ukrainian history, literature and political science.
Scholarship for students in the field of Business Administration and Management at the national university Kyjv Mohyla Academy and Lviv University.
Annual book publication in the fields of Ukrainian history, literature, social and political science or language.
Scholarly publications in the area of Ukrainian history.
Scholarship for students of Drahomanov Institute and Ostroh Academy as well as support for "KRYTYKA" magazine.
A Tribute Donation represents a sum of money set aside within the Petro Jacyk Education Foundation for a tribute or designated purpose. The annual income earned from investing the capital of each Tribute Donation is disbursed in accordance with the instructions of those establishing such a fund to the designated beneficiary of the fund. These can include a particular organization or institution, a specific cause, project or area of interest in the field of education. A Tribute Donation provides an opportunity for an individual, family, organization or institution to make a lasting contribution to the community and carry its name into perpetuity.
Gifts from an estate may be in the form of a fixed amount, percentage or residue. Suggested wording for your will: I give and bequeath the sum of $___________(or “the residue of my estate remaining”) to the Petro Jacyk Education Foundation.
